What Else to Know About the Tesla Model S
Renting the Tesla Model S in Dubai is straightforward, but a few local details are worth knowing before you collect the keys. Toll gates are charged automatically as you drive through them, fuel is paid by the driver, and paid parking in the central districts is handled through an app rather than at a meter. All of it appears on the closing invoice rather than at the counter.
The daily allowance on this car is 250 km, which comfortably covers city driving plus a run out to the desert or to Abu Dhabi and back. Anything beyond that is charged at the extra-kilometre rate shown in the rental terms above. Most of our cars go out without one. Where a deposit does apply, it is shown in the rental terms on this page and released after the car is returned.
How many kilometres are included?
250 km a day on this car. Extra kilometres are charged at the rate listed in the rental terms above.
Can you deliver the car to me?
Yes. We deliver to hotels and villas across Dubai and meet arrivals at both airports, or you can collect the car from our office. The delivery block on this page lists the current rates.
How do I pay?
Cash, credit or debit card. The rate, the insurance excess and anything else chargeable are confirmed in writing before you sign.
Can I extend the rental?
Yes, just tell us before the return date. Extending an existing rental is normally cheaper than starting a new booking.
What happens with tolls and traffic fines?
Toll gates and any fines are invoiced at cost after the rental ends, with no handling charge added by us.
Can I drive to another emirate?
Anywhere in the UAE, yes. For a trip to Oman let us know in advance so the paperwork and insurance can be arranged.
